Peach season is in full swing and I cannot go another year without sharing this recipe. This here is the best peach pie you ever did try! My sister-in-law has always made this and I promise, it’s dreamy! She was kind enough to let me share the recipe with all of you! Not only does this peach pie taste dreamy in your mouth, but it only has 5 ingredients!
This pie is what I call a “loaded pie”. It is layered and goes beyond the rim of the pie plate. It is the perfect combination of wafers, peaches, and cream. Every bite literally melts in your mouth! Because this pie has only 5 ingredients, it is very easy to make. Those are just some of the reasons why I vote this the best peach pie you ever did try!
Box Vanilla Wafers
1/2 Pint Whipping Cream
1/3 Cup Lemon Juice
Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
(This recipe yields one pie. You can add about 4-6 more peaches and make it in a 9×13 dish)
Crush up the Vanilla Wafers, peel and slice peaches. Pour whipping cream in a bowl and mix with mixer until it thickens. Fold in the lemon juice and the sweetened condensed milk.
In a pie plate layer the wafer crumbs, peaches, and cream. Do another layer of crumbs, peaches, then cream. Top with extra crumbs.
Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
I live just down the road from some of the best peaches in the country! Brigham City, UT is known for their peaches and every year I make sure I get enough to eat plain or add to recipes.
“Millions of peaches, peaches for me!”
Go ahead, grab some peaches and make this pie. Will you let me know if you think that this is the best peach pie ever?
